With that said though, motion controls don't work, and in order to get the game to load at all with VR, you need to enable the VR output in options (can do monitor + VR), and when starting the game, you have to use desktop/non-VR view in order to select menu options to actually get in-game. Then just run the game in a usual way and select the VR output in the in-game settings menu. If SteamVR is already running – close it before launching the game.
